Music, Movies, and Books

Books I liked very very much:
a insustetável leveza do ser- Milan Kundera;
a casa dos espíritos- Isabel Alende
o dia do curinga- Jostein Gaarder
Demian e Sidarta- Herman Hesse
Lo libro de os abrazos- Eduardo Galeano
Boyhood, The life of animals - Coetzee
Memórias póstumas de Brás Cubas e Quincas Borba- Machado de Assis
Primeiras Estórias- Guimarães Rosa
Ciranda de Pedra, venha ver o pôr do sol - Lygia Fagundes Teles
As crônicas de Nárnia -Lewis
I´m not very into poetry (for me, it´s just hard to understand), but, some writers it´s impossible unlike: Carlos Drummond de Andrade, Paulo Leminsky, Manuel Bandeira, Fernando Pessoa;
Litle bit of Hanah Arendt, Epicuro, Descartes, Sêneca, Platão (I like philosofy too much, however, I´ve been read only for academical reasons)

Music:
Beatles and just love Paul MacCartney as musician and as public person
Many songs from 80 decade;
Many MPB (popular brasilian music), like Milton Nascimento, Chico Buarque;
New age for relaxing, like Loreenna Mackenitt, Enya;
Buena Vista social club to listen and to dance;
I like dance style for excercising (some of Avicci, David Guetta, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Katy Perry.....)
Samba and forró to do ballroom dance- Just love ballroom dances!!
It´s very dificult to say others musicians/groups I like because usualy, I like just a few musica of each musician... I can love a music and hate the others of the same musician... Because of that, sometimes I don´t know the name of the artist, even the name of the music I like.
some examples I know the name:
Looper-mondo77
amelie poulain soundtrack
dirty dancing havana nights soudtrack
sleeping, cry for help- Rick Astley
Thousand milles- Vanessa Carlton;
Beautiful world- Black
....
Filmes:
Amelie Poulain, The Shawshank Redemption, , Crash- Paul Haggis, Tropa de Elite, Estação Central, Tillsammans, The Skeleton Key, The Others, How to Make an American Quilt, Yip Man, M. Butterfly, Crouching Tiger, Fight Club, The Hunger Games, The Last of the Moicans, Amerian Beauty, Dogville, Magnólia, El Secreto de Sus Ojos, Diários de Motocicleta, Tina..... and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My travels;

Once I did reiki in a friend and I felt her energy. This was very impressive cause I am not a very sensitive person.

And another experience that changed my life was wach the documentary "earthlings" directed and produced by Shaun Monson.

Teach, Learn, Share

Actualmente me gustaría aprender más español! en troca, puedo enseñar danza del vientre y origami boxes hahahahaha!
I´d like to learn martial arts, italian, more english, mountainbike (know ride a bike, but never praticed in the nature or like a sport), meditating, be calm and relaxed. I am a lot anxious about my studies, work... so, if you can teach me some technique, hahahaha! ... Actually, I think that this is a thing you teach more from companionship than with techniques/ formaly.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you like alcohol berverages, I can bring you a botle of cachaça. I just love it! It´s the sugar cane brandy tipical from Brasil.
If you like belly dance, I can teach you all that I know.
If you don´t have beans in your country, I can bring some with me, at least for myself! hahahahah I´m kidding, That´s because, yes, I can live without beans but I always miss so much!! Rice and beans are always in my lunch, almost 8 days a week, like the Beatles said. Daily rate proteins guaranteed for a vegetarian!

Countries I’ve Visited
