ABOUT ME

I am a chill and laidback person. I have to meet new people, try new things, visit unique and hidden places and just generally enjoy this planet and all the beauty it offers us. I am really into being outdoors and nature and nothing excites me like natural environments and beautiful scenery. I am funny, or so i am often told and seem to be able to make friends easily - people love telling me their secrets and trusting me, so i must be a good trustworthy person, i would like to think. As time goes on, my philosophy on life really moves towards making my time the best it can be and realizing whats really important in life and how to really gain life knowledge - by getting out there and experiencing everything i can! I am pretty open, ask me anything you want.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have shared my couch and surfed for the last few years, but mostly through friends, friend's friends, etc and not couchsurfing. Now its time ti take it up a notch! I have moved up in the world and have a couch to share with the world that gravitates towards me while I am not travelling myself. To that end, I am starting upon some adventures myself and hope to travel and use couchsurfing to meet people and make transient and lifelong connections. Also - I know I live in a high traffic destination, so how can i not help out my fellow surfers?! Couchsurfing karma, yaknow? :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not so much yet on the official couchsurfing site, but i have surfed and hosted tons of people through friends, acquaintances, and family - I have loved every experience of meeting new people and personalities, getting to be a bit of a tourist, and a bit of an "expert" for NJ and NYC. I've even hosted people who didnt share a common language with me, and somehow, we figured out how to communicate - let me tell you, a smile goes a long way to being understood!

Intereses

traveling, immersing myself in cultures, learning new things, improving myself and sharing things with others i have learned as i meet new people and cultures. Working with, playing with, and enjoying time with other people and animals. Outdoorsy stuff, natural beauty, yoga and other core exercises that destress the mind, eating new foods and cooking, and a million other things - its all about trying something out at least once.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach the following things: cooking vegetarian, cooking healthy, balancing budget and eating healthy on less, meditating/destressing, thinking about life and how to gear in a positive direction (life coach), and other things.

Learn: I want to learn about you, who you are, culture, what makes you unique on earth, and anything else you can teach me. I want to grow my global network so i can feel more connected to how small of a world it really is.
