Overview
About Me
I am a vegetarian (mostly a vegan), an economist, a bike mechanic, and a math teacher. I am studying renewable energy technology at Durham Tech, the program also includes a construction electrician certificate.
I am a radical individualist, probably a nihlist, and have some anarchist sympathies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Before I came to couchsurfing, I frequently stayed on the couches of friends and friends of friends and strangers at banquets whom I convinced to hand over their keys. So the idea came rather naturally. I have hosted more than surfed, though I have done both.
The way I see it, my couch is perfectly comfortable to sleep on, but is empty most nights: might as well find a way to put it to good use.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I do not find it to be that big of a deal, but alot of people seem impressed when they learn that in the summer of 2014 I rode my bicycle from Albany, NY to Durham, NC.
