ABOUT ME

I am a fairly independent person who loves to travel and meet new friends. I am currently attempting to learn Spanish and have a great desire to travel Spain this year. I have a small fantastic family that I am very close with. I currently live with my brother and our dog in the house that we own in Lismore, NSW AUSTRALIA. I am very happy to host couch surfers and am very keen to get to meet new and exciting people. I used to live in Dublin, Ireland when I last travelled to Europe.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just recently joined the CS group as I plan to travel some parts of Europe in Summer 2011. I love getting to know new people and really enjoy getting to experience life in other countries and cultures. I'm really excited to start couch surfing and will certainly be ready to host when I return home.

Interests

I love good food and wine and dining is a big part of my travels. I love experiencing different cultures and am really very excited to stay with some lovely people (if they will have me) all over the world.
I love music and to dance, I love the beach, and visiting the beauty of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I am just reading Lonely Planet Books. But I love movies from short animated films to dramas and everything else.
I have a very eclectic taste in music from Classical (probably from my Ballet days) to Metal. Just check out my iPod. - Very interesting when its on shuffle!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2005 I travelled a few parts of Europe with a friend and had a ball. There were so many beautiful and wonderful places and experiences (thus why I am planning on travelling again) and just had a great all round experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I am a dance teacher and real estate agent (different careers, I know)
Learn: I love cooking and learning new languages. I would really love it if hosts would be happy to show me their town/city so I can learn not just from a tourist point of view
Share: I would love to share the experiences of travelling with new friends I meet along the way.
