About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying life on the beach

ABOUT ME

My nickname is Jacquie, I live with my husband Don Mackenzie (sailor & drama professor). We were teacher volunteers in Central Mexico (Guanajuato, Guanajuato) and Western Mexico (Puerto Vallarta, Nayarit). We now live in Salinas, Ecuador. We have seen a large share of this planet.

We welcome independent civic-minded people who have a serious interest in the Spanish speaking populations. T

PHILOSOPHY

Take a BIG bite out of life and pass it on (teach).....

It is way past time to think about the next generations. This is our planet, our Mother Earth, what have we been thinking for all these years? Why have we been so careless and greedy to have such disregard for the next seven generations?

The Abyss, Forever LuLu, An Inconvenient Truth

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flew myself from Jacksonville, Florida to the Arctic Circle, met Native Eskimo kids in their village and flew back in a single engine airplane.

Also, I was the first female Teamster in Chicago; the second in the USA.

In 1972 I was in the first group of seven women to pass the Illinois State Trooper's exam.
