ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm 25. My middle name is Thaddäus (don't laugh ;) ). I grew up in Gastein (a skiing resort in the state of Salzburg in the Alps). I studied MultiMediaTechnology as my bachelor's and master's, then founded my own company and I recently started my 2nd master's in Digital Marketing besides working. I was national champ in Judo when I was 10. I generally love sports (snowboarding, hiking/climbing/mountaineering, running,... kinda in that order). I'm a hobby analog photographer and hobby chef (mostly cooking and eating paleo). I have a 21- and a 9-year-old sister. I'm generous, ambitious helpful, open-minded and sometimes stubborn. My motto is 'work hard, play hard' so I love to party and still be professional the next day at work. I value honest, loyal, funny, open-minded, cheerful, sometimes careless persons who share the same zest for life that I have. If I'd be a drink, I'd be grey goose vodka with soda and lime. And currently I'm listening to the album 'Keith Jarrett - The Koeln Concert' which was the album playing in the background while I was born.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm offering a place to stay in the city of Salzburg directly in the famous "Getreidegasse"!

I also want to spread the spirit of couchsurfing and extend this awesome community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had really great Couchsurfing experiences meeting lots of interesting people and especially made great friends with the community in Austin, Texas!

Interests

I do a lot of sports, mostly snowboarding as I am born in the mountains and I started skiing at the age of 4. I also do a lot of hiking and climbing. I prefer to climb outside on the rocks, but I'm going to indoor climbing walls too.

I'm doing performances as a visual artist or VJ mostly in clubs, but I'm broadening my skills by performing visuals also at sports events. If that sounds interesting to you, have a look at my website: www.ignon.com

I'm also interested in music, mostly electronic (Dubstep, drum n bass, etc). But I also like to listen to other good music regardless of which genre.

Like mentioned before, I love cooking, especially with or for friends or my family. Furthermore I love to experience foreign food and traditions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Solstice celebrations in the Alps watching thousands of fires burn on the mountain ridges at night.
- SXSW festival in Austin (4 times so far and more to come). It's just so much fun!
