ABOUT ME

I was born in Nairobi, Kenya, and decided at age two that I was ready for a new adventure and moved to Toronto, Canada, where I grew up! I lived in Australia for a year but otherwise Toronto has been my home base.

I'm a journalist who loves learning about the world and others through the art of story-telling and meeting new people. I live in downtown Toronto, where I can easily access all that a big, diverse city has on offer.

I couch surfed for the first time in Cape Town_an experience that totally made the trip for me. My host was amazing as was my experience.

I've hiked a relatively significant mountain on every continent but one; saw a meteoroid shower over the deserts of Arizona; a pride of lions a few meters away post a kill, lounging in the Botswana savanna and I fell in love with orphans I volunteered with in Ecuador.
