I´m trying to make time for the thing I´m passionate about and making an effort to integrate all the things I like and enjoy.

ABOUT ME

I would say... I´m easy going, interesting to talk to, creative, enthusiastic about the things I like, transparent, funny (someone who can laugh about herself)... and enjoy sleeping!! specially in couches ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I would like to leave the world being a better place than it was when I came. I believe it´s only doing tghe things you are passionate about, and doing them with love and devotion, that you will succeed and make a difference.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Even though I usually stay in hostels, I made a very long trip last year and I got to sleep in many couches (only one was an "official" couchsurfer member). They were all very enriching experiences, as it gave me the chance to get in touch with the real aspects of the city´s daily life, as lived by the "locals", mostly young people. It alowed me to know the place from a way more interesting angle, perceving a more authentic outlook of the way of living in each place, and made my stay very pleasant (not a minor issue being away from home for so long). I´d love to deepen my couchsurfing experience next time I travel...

Intereses

I enjoy a lot the performing arts, specially dancing and theatre, both as a spectator and as a student, which I have been for long... Nowadays I´m rehearsing a new play with an indpendent group I created with some friends (and former acting class mates). I love contemporary dancing (which I learned for a couple of years) but mainly as an spectator. One of my deepest passions is dancing tango. I´ve been doing so for the past 10 years...

Música, películas y libros

Movies: directors Pedro Almodovar, Alex de la Iglesia, Radu Mihaileanu, Hayao Miyazaki... really enjoy watching movies, maybe unknown ones, "cine arte", specially in winter, specially with friends or family and specially with some good dinner/chocolate/wine!! Music: wide spactrum; tango, bossa nova, blues/jazz, flamenco... Books: diverse taste, I enjoy reading theatre plays, love uruguayan Mario Benedetti, now reading chilean Isabel Allende, and turkish Orhan Pamuk.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Anapurna, Nepal.. Spent the night in the mountain, and the next day, when coming down (and listening to music!)I got lost from the group, took another path and ended up in some village in the middle of nowhere (in the middle of everywhere!), got "rescued" and taken to meet the group again, by some good hearted Nepali men, one of who drove me in his motorbike in the thick rain :)
