About Me

CURRENT MISSION

help humanity to survive using my knowledge

ABOUT ME

When I celebrated my last birthday I heard of myself that I am brave, cool, inspiring. Anyway there's no limits for becoming perfect...

PHILOSOPHY

"Where?" is not the question, but "Whom with?" is!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Never hosted, only surf and meet new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I like surfing, do that nearly every time when going anywhere. It really gives the opportunity to see the real life of the real people, and go deeper into culture if interested. It also gives opportunity to stay in a very unusual places compared to hotels. Nearly all my hosts has been so hospital that I dream of the day when I could host them back:)

Interests

I am crazy on travelling. I know a lot about many places of the world, and I've been in many places as well. I'm the geographer from bones to skin. And I'm deeply involved in the study of the Global Change.
I am very interested what people recognize as some great art, like classical literature, music, cinema and for what purposes. So I am addicted to music, movie watching, and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like beautiful musical pieces which exist within every genre, but mostly its Rock, Jazz, Electronics, etc.

I am the big fan of Herman Hesse's masterpieces, Russian literature of XIX-XX centuries. The last book I read was Solzhenitsyn's "Cancer Ward", which for me is too movie-like. I like more of deep analyzis, like in novels by Dostoevsky. Very remarkable was the "Night in Lisbon" by Remarque, and "Conqueror of the Seas: the Story of Magellan" which I think of as the best book on travelling I read.

I collect the movies I would like to watch once again, and there are lots of them. Suitcases of Tulse Luper is my favourite one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

By my 25 I have visited every continent on Earth.
visited 55 states so far
