About Me

ABOUT ME

I am just another thinking form of life, like you. An editor with a background in Theater and Psychotherapy. A European sans the high maintenance. A child at heart with a penchant for making up absurdist fairytales and responding to happiness by singing loopy songs. Completely idiosyncratic, albeit sane. Well rounded socially. Incredulously rational despite passions. Lover of theory, reading and writing.

What else? - I have my own personal country - do you? Mine is a parliamentary monarchy, but you can choose any form of government for yours! The parties gather for debates and pass new bills when a big decision is due. The factions change according to the needs of the moment - the Party of Reason and Skepticism, the Party of Here and Now, and the Party of Flaneurism (of course, party labels are subject to change according to the day and mood - it is your personal state parliament, after all! ;-)

Around the right people, I come across as inspiring, truly listening to you, and throwing a unique point of view back at ya. Quirky and outgoing as a person, but quiet as a guest - you should ask my last landlord (see Reference by him here)! While there, I enjoyed buying plants out-of-pocket for the shared areas and clean the common spaces - just because.

Deep, honest, important conversation remains my first shareable commodity. "The greatest gift one can give to another is their full undivided attention".

PHILOSOPHY

1. Do what you love, and do it OFTEN.
2. If you do not like something, CHANGE it.
If you do not like your job, quit.
3. This is YOUR life.
4. To get the things that you lack, GIVE them away first.
5. If you do not have enough money, stop buying things -- you need MUCH less than you thought.
6. If you do not have enough time, stop watching TV.
7. If you are looking for the love of your life, STOP;
they will be waiting for you when you start doing the things you LOVE.
8. Travel often. Open your mind to NEW ideas and people;
we are more similar and less complex than we think.
9. Once a week, take all of your complexity and wash it off in the SHOWER.
10. Then go out there and DO what needs to be done.
11. Create friendships that run DEEP.
Life is about the PEOPLE you meet and the things you create with them.
So go out and start creating.
12. Life is SHORT.
13. Ask the next person you meet what their passion is.
14. Live your DREAM and share it widely.
