About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a queer feminist, sunshine loving anti-capitalist.

I'm hoping CS will bring me lots of lovely people and that'll give me new ideas brewing in my mind.

done some volunteering: salvaging food & serving it for free with Food Not Bombs & was a 24h crisis line volunteer with a Sexual Assault Center.

PHILOSOPHY

You get what you pay for in life- pay a lot and you get an expensive life, take whats free and you get freedom.

Music, Movies, and Books

Momo by Micheal Ende, The Dispossessed by Ursula K. Le Guin, The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy, off the map, doris (zine!)

Movies: Amelie, Baraka, Requiem for a Dream, Little Miss Sunshine, The Science of Sleep, Into the Wild, Studio Ghibli movies (especially My Neighbor Totoro!) and Planet Earth documentaries.

As for music I'm really into a lot of different kinds- especially diy/folk music. Always interested in hearing something new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time a pal and I spontaneously decided to hitchhike from to Hamilton Ontario to Halifax. We left the next morning without a map (or smartphone) and somehow made it all the way to Halifax & back within our deadline of under 10 days!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share stories and know how about seasonal jobs (in Canada) that are great for travellers from all over.

I can teach you how to make DIY shampoos, toothpastes, deodorants and face masks from regular kitchen ingredients. And kombucha! (fermented tea thats really good for your digestive system).

I'm really into dumpstering and foraging food so I'd love to go on food finding missions.

I also love to cook for people. Especially when surrounded with good company.

I want to hear different people's self care and ways of dealing with mental health issues and share about mine.

I like tinkering around on instruments and am generally interested in learning about different people's artistic processes. I'm also interested in learning about DJing.

I like sharing stories about love! And traveling!

I also love trying to pick up new words in other languages. My biggest mission right now is to learn Spanish.
