About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world. Meet the people. Learn the culture!

ABOUT ME

I'm all about travelling and meeting the people, learning the culture and making friends!!

Generally a very laid back person and laughs to the lamest jokes!! I am super random and am always ALWAYS up for a good time. I believe that everything is worth a go at least once in my life (or 2....just to make sure..) If you don't try it, you would never know eh?!

Food is another passion of mine. Love to go food hunting wherever I go. Used to do hours and hours worth of driving just to get good food. I once had a 10 meal food crawl in 12 hours in the food island of Malaysia!I now try to experiment with my cooking since there isn't much variety in Leicester. Not good at it, but I am determined to get good at it!

Hoping to meet more people and make more friends here! Friends are the loveliest creature one can have in life.

PHILOSOPHY

If it makes you happy, it can't be that bad. ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am using this to meet people of all background around the world! Something I've learnt along the way is that meeting people from random backgrounds has educated me truly. It has given me the awareness on different outlooks of life. Besides that, we get to make new friends!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used to 'unofficially' host friends back in the days. They would just pop over to my house whenever they feel like it and stay a few nights. We watch movies, have BBQs, play games, drinking parties! Also hosted a few exchange students and brought them around KL.
I have since signing up, met up quite a brilliant bunch of people along my travels and in Leicester itself.CS has brought me life long friends.

Meeting local CSers during my travels made such a big difference to the story. It brought awesomeness to a whole new level. From big events to just meeting up! Attended Paris Rendezvous 2011 and boyyy that was amazing! Over 200 CS from all over the world turned up and we were all trying to fit in a tiny little pub in one of the streets of Paris. And then there was an unintended 'pub crawl' in Brussels with my beer guide. Thankfully we got home with our limbs intact!

The adventures are endless and I have a feeling that it will only get better!
