ABOUT ME

Howdy! Me in a nut shell: I'm a fun loving, wave surfing, motorcycle riding, broken stuff fixing, dog loving, boat sailing, rock climbing Californian. I love anything new, different, outdoors. I feel drawn to the ocean and water, and love nothing more than to be immersed in it. I wouldn't describe myself as a thrill seeker, but I need to be challenged and fully tuned-in to life everyday in some way. Otherwise, I just go into zombie mode. I've learned to be comfortable with a little discomfort, and this helps me thrive for some reason.

Not really sure how to explain my character, but I think I'm dependable, patient, and adaptable. If I ordered a meal at a restaurant, and was served something different, I probably wouldn't mention it to the server. I'd just accept it as an opportunity to try something I wouldn't have otherwise ordered. I guess my outlook on life can be summed-up as "don't sweat the small stuff". If no one gets seriously injured, sick, or impoverished, then everything else is usually quite manageable. Not that I'm complacent about life, but I've witnessed enough misfortune and tragedy to know that I can't take my good fortune for granted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had good, bad, and amazing times as a host and guest. I think the biggest factor in making it a positive experience is to be flexible and helpful. Things don't always go as planned, but adapt and make the most of any situation!

兴趣

Anything from cafe lounging to jumping out of planes. If it's outdoors, I'll probably have a good time. But, I spend most of my free time surfing (waves), sailing, and motorcycling.
