ABOUT ME

Born in Sweden, travelled to Greece since I was a child (together with my Mum who started going in the early 70-ies). Went every summer to different places in Greece since I was 16 years old. Ended up in Santorini, fell in love (with the Island plus with Alex.)and moved here 1993.
Until 2001, I seperated my life between Sweden and Greece but then we took over a Café/Creperie which we just closed for good after 11 years.
For the summer 2012, I will go back to my old work, in NEW ART, Fabrica Shopping center. I will also work extra with my Acupressure.
In the winter months we travel, at least 2 months. We have been all over Greece but also Kenya, Cuba, Costa Rica, Thailand and the last 5 years: India.
I have been working many years in Sweden as a Nurse Aid and I have a diploma in Acupressure since 2006.
I have also worked as a Maίtre in a 5* Restaurant in Sweden for 2 years.

I can give good advise what to do on the Island which travel agency's are missing. Places to visit, eat, things to do which tourists normally don't or can find.

Cooking, reading, movies, finding new small places of interest, finding new great places to eat (I love food), enjoying friends company, nice dinners together and to party sometimes.

Prefer European films but I´m an "all eater", depends which mood I'm in..
I love all kinds of music, the same here: depends on my mood.
I have read everthing from the classics to modern fiction' - love to read!

Teach, Learn, Share

When travelling, always ask locals what to do or where to eat. I have had the BEST experiences doing this myself, specially in Cuba where we ended up in a small Salsa bar with only Cubans in their 70-ties!!!
Ask local people what they do themself when they go out or spend their time!
