About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet good people, community oriented people, people who care deeply about life and the world.

ABOUT ME

Exploring life. Just a student trying to learn. I like traditional arts and culture, classical and Chinese music. I'm starting up an organic farm for peace of mind a livelihood, and as a foundation for a public education project. But I've got other career paths too. My main subject of study is health; when I complete my studies, I'll become a medical doctor.

Independence is a very important part of making the world a better place, therefore self employment is my path of choice. I'm working on creating an events management company for the purpose of creating events that affect humanity in positive healthy ways. The #1 focus of the company is wedding consultation and planning.

Another trade of mine is piano tuner. I got into this profession for the same reason: heal the world with good vibrations; and also because it's a way for me to get into the performing arts world.

I read as much as is healthy for the mind and as time allows. I read books about reality, of today, yesterday, of old days, and of ancient times, books that inspire. I mostly study health related subjects and history to connect the dots and fill the gaps. Very rarely watch movies for entertainment with the exception of independently produced films that have strong cultural value; mostly just watch independent documentaries.

Something I would like to experience: living on top of a mountain for at least one full year, meditate in the wee hours of the morning, then watch the sunrise, then study, then go about daily business of gardening, building natural homes, and hand crafting everything I need in life. Leave all my worries behind, become a new person.

PHILOSOPHY

Build life long friendships. Live a meaningful life, "a life of service and compassion" (quoted from Sakyamuni). I'm very bad at it, but at least I try (a little). Theoretically, it sounds good, but I guess it's more of an ideal than a philosophy. It's one of those, "practice makes perfect" kind of principles. It's also like the well known saying: "Be the change you want to see in the world". Easier said than done, but at least I believe in it. Find peace, real peace, and happiness.

I'm an opportunist, a changemaker, and a social entrepreneur. I'm a provoker; I challenge ideas and view points, but don't cast out those with different views as enemies, preferring not to burn bridges. At least, that's my ideal. I'm still learning how to be less judgmental and more understanding.
