I love to make new friends! I try and attend as many fun events as possible and go to as many new places as I have the chance to. This website is a great place to try and forge connections with people who are interested in the same things as me.

Learn as much as I can, get as involved as possible. You have to be a leader to live the way you'd like, you can't just wait for things to happen.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love participating in activities with CSers wherever I go! So far I have been most active in Baltimore, making tons of friends through this website and going to lots of events in the city =) I also stayed with a couple of great people and absolutely love them!! This website is a perfect way to meet cool people who also like to travel, and make life long friendships.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lots of experiences two summers ago, and I have also heard lots of great stories from my friends who participate all over the world! I am looking to become more involved in Couchsurfing (especially hosting) once I move to a bigger metro area next year!

Interests

I love to explore new places, travel whenever I can, eat healthy, go to the gym regularly, surf the internet, communicate with old friends from across the world, and to spend lots time with new ones, too. I also love my 19 year old cat, she is a sweetheart. I enjoy dancing, exercising, eating, sleeping, learning.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like anything with Leonardo Dicaprio (Great Gatsby anyone?) and anything by Ghibli Studios (Japanese animated films).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing that I've done in my lifetime. It is that I studied abroad in Japan. With the connections that I made through the international dormitory that I lived in, I now have lifelong friends who live all over the world. I love people, and flourish the most when there are lots of new and exciting people to meet and get to know.

Oh, and I also went skydiving, but who hasn't done that? ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

My skills are that I know a lot about Japanese culture as well as American culture. I can speak both fluently. I also am a veterinary student, so I can bore you with my scientific knowledge. I like to go running, and used to have an obsession with healthy foods, so I can tell you all about nutrition, too.
