About Me

CURRENT MISSION

see further, think better

ABOUT ME

I always get stuck at questions like these. Ok, so...people say that they like to spend time with me, 'cause of the various reasons, it seems. They do generally agree that I'm smiling a lot and that I'm curious about everything.
I tend to think of myself as being kid-like when it comes to enthusiasm about useless stuff, geeky and endlessly curious.
I am also prone to instantly fall in love with a lot of things that this world offers daily...clouds in the sky, rivers, mountains, plants, bugs, villages, buildings, time spent on a bench in a park...

PHILOSOPHY

Love all, trust few, do harm to none.

Ok, so I wrote this when I first opened profile on CS. I don't want to erase it as Shakespeare got it right but I drifted away from it.
I guess it's work in progress at the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Thus fur, only the best!

Interests

I probably have attention surplus disorder. I am interested in pretty much everything. Except sports and politics. Hm...probably only sport, 'cause I really know nothing about it. Not even about football.
So - culture, technology, economy, art, music, literature, history, wars, you... I'm comfortable talking about anything.
Though, as days go by, I've noticed that art is getting bigger and bigger piece of my head. I love how it can displace you instantly. Travelling without moving ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Of al the things money can buy, I enjoy books, music and movies the best. Ok, I love air-plane tickets better :)

Books...Raise High the Roof Beam Carpenters by J.D. Salinger, Ask the Dust by John Fante, Shakespeare Never Did This by Charles Bukowski, City by Clifford Simak and many more.

Movies...Fight Club, Deathproof, Pulp Fiction, Blade Runner, Night on Earth, Synecdoche - New York... and some oldies as well - Roman Holiday, Third Man, The Rope, Invasion of the Body Snatchers etc.

Music...LCD Soundsystem, Crystal Castles, The National, Massive Attack, Portishead, PJ Harvey, Nick Cave, Air, Daft Punk, The Coral etc.

And I love comics. Love 'em! Not the superhero kind, though. For me, there's so much more than costumed saviours of the galaxy. Look up for Spiegelman, Moebius and Jodorowsky. As good as some literature classics, believe you me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
