My name is David. I love traveling and meeting new people.

Life is about doing new things - I find that the most fun things in life are the things that are spontaneous and that aren't really planned out. Although some of those things may seem intimidating, it's most fun when you go out and do them. "If it doesn't sound like a bad idea, it must be a good one". I love listening to live music. I especially enjoy helping others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to help with the couch surfing project by meeting new people and by interacting with others from different cultures. As I've grown, I've learned the value of interacting with others and the value of learning through meeting with new people. I love showing off where I live and would be delighted to have people visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have stayed on someone's couch several times. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Would love to do it again. I haven't had the chance to host.

Music - Tons! Really enjoyed listening to blues/soul in the last few months.

Movies - I tend to watch action and comedy, but I'm not opposed to drama or horror. I will watch just about any type of movie, depending on the mood.

I'd enjoy discussing psychology, sociology, philosophy, history, politics, and life experiences.

I am living San Antonio, and may be able to provide information on the areas, best places to visit, etc. I'm a proud Houstonian and will be able to give you some tips on the Houston area as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share knowledge of what it's like to live in Texas, some knowledge of music, and a variety of stories about things that I've seen at work. I can also cook.
