ABOUT ME

I grew up in Stockholm, but as soon as I finished school I saved up money to go travelling. And ever since then I go travelling as soon as I get a chance. I have lived longer periods (more than two months) in Israel, Australia, Spain, Costa Rica, Belgium and Lund (Sweden), but I always return to Stockholm where I have my home base with most of my friends and family.

I go travelling both with work and privately, and I like scuba diving, rock climbing, cycling and being active when I travel (although spending some lazy days with a good book on a nice beach is also a perfectly acceptable way for me to spend time). I love meeting people from other cultures and so far Couch Surfing has been a fun experience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have both hosted, surfed and met with couch surfers while travelling. The Couch Surfing community is great!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted some couch surfers and all have been nice experiences. However, hosting three CS's in one week was a bit too much.

I've also surfed some couches myself, and met many nice CS'ers for drinks or coffee while travelling

Staying in the jungles of Borneo for ten days with a local tribe, fetching food from the trees and washing in the river. All very far from cars, mobile phones or most other things we think we need to live our lives.
