Currently living in Barcelona! I arrived here in September last year on vacation and have decided to stay for a while longer...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Science of Sleep, Amelie, The Warriors, Beetlejuice, Vertigo, Pump up the Volume, Cry Baby, Being John Malcovich, The Secret In Their Eyes, Chico y Rita.

Music: Blues, jazz, punk, reggae, dixieland, gypsy, ska, garage, soul, psychedelic. Too many bands to list and my taste is extremely varied!

Books: Life of Pi, Kafka on the Shore, Everything is Illuminated, Eating Animals, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Leaving The Atocha Station, Preacher comics, The Beach.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking through Sapa, Vietnam, witnessing some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen and getting to share it with some of my best friends.

Meeting some locals while I was on my own in Dublin and having the night end with us dancing on the street to James Brown which was cranking out of some portable speakers.

Singing and dancing in front of over 500 people at Maur park Kareoke, Berlin!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a swing dance teacher so am more than happy to teach some dance moves! I’d love to learn how to play guitar as teaching myself isn’t going as well as I’d hoped. I’d also love to practice my Spanish/Catalan with anyone at all willing.
