About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn from others, have fun, and grow as the ego crumbles
ABOUT ME
Well, I've made it to the 31 year mark and realized it's time to expand my horizons. I'm a pretty open person, curious by nature. I like to learn about other folks and how they choose to live. My feeling is, as I learn from others, I will transform. It's time for growth! :-D
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live in harmony with others, and seek to grow personally. I try to reduce my impact on the environment and our resources, and like to reuse things (in art projects sometimes), or recycle them. Um... I like the color green... okay, that was silliness, but did I answer the question? Think I did... okay, moving on
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
While I'd heard about Couchsurfing a few years ago, this is the first I've actually tried to use it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I learned about Counchsurfing.org from someone I met wilst on their travels. She showed me I could do it too, and now I am! :-D
I am both touched and humbled as I make meaningful connections with other people. The barriers come down and I realize just how beautiful folks are. This is what I need at this point in my life journey.
Interests
I am an artist, and love to inspire others. I use various mediums, but generally I paint and draw.
I also love to adventure, exploring new places and experiences. I'm drawn more to natural beauty, and the local vibe of a new place.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies I'll watch again: Secretary, Sound of Music, Party Girl, Barfly, Serenity, The Never Ending Story, Legend, Labyrinth, The Matador, Cecil B. Demented...
Some music I thoroughly enjoy: Skinney Puppy, Maralyn Manson, Bjork, Depeche Mode, The Cranberries, early 90's alternative (it's when I grew up), Jessie Cook, the Blues
Books that caught my brain: The Mists of Avalon, Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress... wow, brain fart! I don't read as much as I used to, I'm out doing more. (-:
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went off to New Orleans with my friend, and we had a great time!
