About Me

Update : I'm married to my beautiful wife and now we're travelling together. More about her later...

CURRENT MISSION

Dream it (this is what i generally do) , sacrifice for it ( I'm working on it ) and make it come true ( hmm let me take a coffee while dreaming:))

ABOUT ME

What does one define himself with? I have dreams like living a more creative life, travelling through Alaska one day and living in Siberia for a while, being able to communicate in many languages. I love having people around me and exchanging stories and chatting and joking and laughing. I enjoy listening to good music, especially live concerts. I love watching movies .I have been travelling since twelve years as a tour guide to make a living and have met hundreds of new people every year from USA,Australia,NZ, and Canada and made good friends. I am trying to figure out a new way of life that i love ,a new challenge that will enrich my life and soul...

PHILOSOPHY

Of course it matters what you're seeing when you're travelling , but it s more about the people that you meet while you re travelling. And also travelling must change something in you about how you look to the life and the world around you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would very much like to meet new friends, and have a cup of coffee and chat. It would be fantastic to share ideas and stories. I wouldn't say no, if you have also a couch available:))

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some incredibly nice people in Istanbul, through couchsurfing. The talks , and the ideas that we shared were eye openers for me. Beautiful memories , and we had a great time .So much fun :)

Interests

Learning new languages , being out in the nature, having a nice cup of coffee and reading my book ,going out for concerts and live performances .

Music, Movies, and Books

Arthur Hailey's "Airplane. Hotel, Wheels, In high places" were great, and as soon as possible i ll read his other books. Also i love Hemingway's style, especially in "For whom the bells toll" ..Trevanian's Shibumi was excellent. And i recommend you to read " 40 rules of love" by Elif Safak.

Back to the Future, Rocky, Godfather, Dances with wolves, Bourne, Illusionist, The island, Run Lola run, Im Juli, Amistad, 12 Monkeys were some of the movies that i liked to watch.

As for music i like Turkish pop and rock, and jazz. You should search these names : Jehan Barbur, Julide Ozcelik.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I woke up and came out of my tent on the top of the snow covered mountain ,I was breathless seeing that there was nothing else to see but a sea of fogs.

Teach, Learn, Share

Would you like to learn how to make a nice cup of Turkish coffee? Or to learn how to play backgammon? If you already know we might work on advanced cheating lessons :-)
