ABOUT ME

I am always looking for something new, even if it's just a new coffee shop. I am really social but also love my down time to read a book in the park or go for a run. I love most things outdoors-hiking, biking, swimming, snowshoeing. I grew up on a farm but love the city lights.

PHILOSOPHY

I'll sleep when I am dead but for now I want to experience as much as I can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed at some really great places and have met such interesting people through the community. Looking forwarrd to returning the favour now that I am back home!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly through friends of friends in Japan. Then officially joined and surfed in N. America and Africa. Have had many friends of friends crash on my couch/air mattress. I love showing what's good in the city and have often brought them to the farm!

Interests

Running, biking, hiking, swimming and camping...and now possibly scuba diving as I slowly get over my fear of deep water :s
Food - eating it, not so much making it :)

Book: Suitable Boy, A razor's edge, Madam Bovary, Slaughter House 5, oh god way too many to list them all!

Hiked 100KM without sleep for OXFAM.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty handy with a sewing machine or knitting needles. I'd like to learn more about cooking..I can do the dishes! or teach me anything really!
