ABOUT ME

Привет!

I'm travelling in Kazakhstan through a fellowship funded by the Kazakhstan Embassy in Washington! I'm not sure my exact itinerary yet, but I'll be in Astana and Almaty and possibly Karagandy August 8-12. I'll have accommodations taken care of, but I'm interested in anyone willing to share Kazakh culture and society with me. Anything interesting or Kazakh that I can't find online I'd love to experience! I'll be writing about my experience through my blog and through the embassy, so share Kazakhstan with America! Of course I'll be happy to share North Carolina American culture as well :) Also- anyone that works in the field of healthcare or technology, I'm writing a report on the use of mobile health in Kazakhstan, and it would be great to talk to you

I've couch surfed in South America, had amazing experiences, and been impressed with surfers I meet all over the world. I'm currently looking forward to hosting in Carrboro, NC, and travelling to Kazakhstan soon, looking to meet fellow couchsurfers

I can make mean fried green tomatoes. I know a little about land management and how to cut down a tree, and if you let me I´ll tell you all about it. I can tell you the best things to see in the states if you´ve got a car and don´t want to see what everyone else sees. I can teach english too :)
