ABOUT ME

After finishing University I took a big decision to change my career and I’m now driving trains in Melbourne. I love traveling, exploring new cultures and meeting people from all around the globe.

I always wanted to travel when I was at college but never really got the chance then. After graduating, I started travelling alongside tertiary education. I've met many people on way and it helped me a lot in shaping my personality.

I joke around a lot and I love people with good sense of humor. I don't open up very quickly but once I do I really make sure people around me have a great time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS in 2011 when I was living in Japan and it has helped me meet a lot of people. I've hosted and have been hosted while traveling. I've not been a regular at monthly or weekly gathering mainly due to my commitments. Although, I've tried to participate in as many events as my schedule allowed me to. I think this is a great program and will remain to be important to many like-mined people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Its been a great experience hosting and surfing. I've been able to meet lots of great people which otherwise I might not have been able to meet. Not once can I say that I had any bad experience with CSers.

Interesses

Photography, swimming and traveling. I'm very keen on reading books and articles on historical events. As a Civil Engineer, I've always been interested in ancient architecture and structures. I love playing Cricket, Badminton and Table Tennis. I follow global politics very closely and if you're one of those people who like discussing politics then you'll just love my company.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I mostly watch selected comedy, sci-fi, drama and historical movies. I like listening to Oisis, Enrique, Bjork, PJ Harvey, Akcent, etc. Books on history and transportation systems. Its very hard to pick one or a subset of movies, books and music. I like a lot of stuff and everything is good in a different way.

I just loved going around Istanbul which came right on top of the cities that I fancy. Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque together just looked amazingly beautiful. The second largest Buddah statue at Nara, Japan was also one moment I cant forget, made me feel so small in front of it.

I enjoy learning new languages and recepies to interesting dishes. Also, I like to know more about history of different regions and cultures. I am an internationalist and like to connect dots to bring us all together.

O Que Posso Compartilhar com Anfitriões

I can share a cozy apartment and interesting stories. There's a kitchen where can cool and a TV we can watch movies on. Also, I like to go on road trips and have a car we can use. So come along and have fun :D
