I like to hike, ski, kayak, camp, and walk on the el Camino de Santiago. Traveling and recreational activities are special. I am a Camino junkie!

I am retired and now have time to travel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have housed WWOOFers and couchsurfers. I have also been hosted in Spain and France. It is a lovely experience and I love being guided as well as taking folks around.

I have hosted and been hosted. Lovely experiences. CS is a fabulous program. It truly is a cultural experience for everyone.

Interests

Traveling, hiking, biking, kayaking, walking in Spain. Photography. Studying Spanish and French. Traveling. Friends and family. Medical Science. I love meeting other travelers and hearing about their experiences, and my experiences on the Camino in Spain have been fabulous. Walking the Camino again this year!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailed to Hawaii in a 33'sloop with 2 others. 33 days at sea.
Kayak around Southeast Alaska
Walked the El Camino twice. Walked the Via de La Plata, and have walked in the Alpujarras mountains.
Medical volunteer in Dominican Republic 4 weeks a year for 9 years
Lived inJuneau, Alaska for 43 years, now live in Bellingham, Washington.
