ABOUT ME

We (Mutiara & I) have signed up on this site as a joint member. We have a mission since the last year that we will be travelling together to Europe in 2011 and here we are decided to take a step forward and join this community and make it happen.

Mutiara and I grew up in Indonesia but from different city, I am originally from South of Celebes, Indonesia and mutiara is from Samarinda, East Borneo. How do we meet, I guess that is the common question that everyone would ask all around our friends :)

While I was doing my Bachelor degree at the Monash University in Melbourne, friend of mine who was known as my housemate had introduced me to Mutiara. After couple of time getting together with my housemate and mutiara, it seems that we click and have shared some common interest on each other. If I could recall, perhaps after we have known to each other for a year, we had decided to take our friendship into different level, we had done our first travelling together with a group of friends to Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Being a student at that time of the year and just had a part time job, it was quite tough to get around with just enough budget to give us going. But we were amazed that with a precise planning and affordable low air flight ticket, we finally did make it to our first trip. Ever since then, we have been very close especially we have been a travel partner to each other, and best friend for approximately 8 years. We hope our next journey to Europe will strenghten our friendship and communication and definitely move to even more daring thing e.g. Amazing Race :)

My name is Evana Ryadi. I am an Indonesian citizen who spend almost third quarter of my life in the outback land i.e. Australia. I have live in Melbourne for nearly 11 years, which I guess more than likely I have called it as my home. I work as a property manager in the real estate field. I have put off my job aside at this time being and devote myself to do some travelling in 2011 and not the least forget is visiting my parents in my home town, South Celebes in Indonesia. So far in this 2011, I've done my travelling to Koh Phangan & Bangkok (Thailand), Perth, (Australia), Medan, North Sumatra (Indonesia), Cheng Du (China) and will be looking forward for this coming Europe trip.
Guys inluding future host, future friends, we would appreciate your great assistance in the land of Europe while we are exploring your local area.

Hiii Future host,
Im so excited about this trip and really looking forward to it. My name is Mutiara Situmorang, 27 yo single, live in Jakarta (Indonesia). I have my own business, a laundry shop and webstore selling swimwear.

Our plan is to explore Europe in 39 Days. We will land in Paris on 17 May 2011, spend couple days there and then move forward to the next city, explore more about this continent as much and far as we can till our departure date on 24 June 2011.

Although I have yet directly hosted any members from couchsurfing, however, I have some experiences in hosting my friends who live in other cities. I'd love to accommodate them, showing them around the town and of course if I have free time, I would be showing them the countryside like vineyard, natinal park, beaches, etc.
