ABOUT ME

I am a 24 year old girl currently working in Hungary. I basically come from India and have traveled to Hungary right after my Masters degree in the UK. I work in the biotechnology industry and is involved in the business related tasks of this field. On a personal note, I am avid animal lover and am also a member of a UN recognized meditation organization spread across 80 countries in the world. Having a family background in journalism and science and business related fields , I have got many opportunities to span across the length and breadth of not only my country but also worldwide , with my parents and relatives. I love meeting and interacting with people from different cultures and backgrounds and wish to continue doing so to enlarge my perspective about this world and life as a whole.

PHILOSOPHY

If everything and everyone could be as crystal clear as water - not only would we acquire the ability to mold, adjust and freely flow across barriers , but also be as precious and special !!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am planning short trips to different countries in the coming months and as I look forward to finding good hosts for myself. I would like to invite couch surfers at my place in India and give them an opportunity to experience the real India.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have gone couchsurfing in Budapest with a friend of mine. And I am highly impressed with not only the great arrangements that were made for our stay but also of the hospitality offered by our couch surfer. We have been lucky to find such a place to stay in Budapest and a great friend in city completely unknown to us ,earlier.

Interests

As I mentioned I love keeping pets and adore animals to the core. My other interests involve traveling and learning more about the various cultures across the world. I also like to participate in the political and spirituality related discussions with people, to understand the pulse of the general public while I am in a new place. And yes last but not the least my camera is my travel companion and thus photography is also a great stressbuster for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as movies , books and music is concerned , I have to admit that I might not know about the biggest oscar hit of that year but perhaps might be able to still discuss with you a local documentary from the region, unknown to many. I do not have any fixed interests in the above mentioned fields , but yet cannot do without any. I would love to explore all kinds of classical and regional music and movies to connect to the place. And regarding the books, if there is an interest at all, its generally for political and philosophical books , as I believe that if I am investing my time and efforts in something, I might just devote those 6 hours and try and achieve something at the end rather than just cracking a fictitious plot or dreaming about a happily ever after.
