ABOUT ME

I am currently living and working in NYC. I keep an open mind and try giving everything a shot- and usually end up liking everything I do. I try my best to keep very active both physically and mentally and love to meet new people!

PHILOSOPHY

I have 2 strict rules in my life:
1) No judging.
2) Don't start a sentence with "Wouldn't it be cool if..." It probably will be, or at least you'll always be wondering, so save your breath and just TRY!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed around Europe for a bit, hosted some couchsurfers at my last apartment in New Orleans, and am now logging back in after a long hiatus. I don't know that I can currently host but am down to hang out with anyone passing through the NYC area.

Interests

Everything!!! But particularly arts and crafts, math, the environment, fitness/nutrition, and how things are made. I also am intrigued by how other people think and perceive differently the things around them, and how these thoughts shape interactions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in New Orleans post-Katrina. It's amazing to see who is left there, who would not leave their homes and who is willing to give up a shot somewhere else to completely rebuild the city they love. The spirit and community found in New Orleans is amazing, and I'm proud to help out in any homes, schools, and public places I have been able to.

I have some pretty unique insights on business and math. I also go through periods of borderline obsessiveness reading up on different topics so depends on the mood you catch me in.
