I am a young Australian student/bookseller, with a soft spot of France. As an idealist and a romantic it is a love of literature, theatre and poetry that allows me a continued optimism about people.

Because I would like to practice my French and to have interesting conversation with interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm not very particular about music. I really like rhythm & blues & Jazz; Etta James, John Lee Hooker & Corinne Bailey Rae, to name a few.

Movies: A few of my favourites are; Dear Frankie, Persuasion (1995), Room with a View & Tiger in the Snow

Books: I love books. I love being surrounded by them. I love their smell and feel. I can't pick a favourite. My tastes are classic (Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell etc) and literary fiction and of course poetry!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spontaneously joined a dance social on the banks of the Garonne River in Toulouse 2011.
