About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Running away with a circus and playing the accordion in as many different countries as possible.

ABOUT ME

I have been a very to and fro person, leaping from one subject of interest to another, but right now I´m aspiring to be an accordionist, which I am currently pursuing by playing in a newly founded circus group.
I´ve always been intrigued by music and photography, and in later years graphical design, and ever since tried to include these with my love for travelling.
I hope to end up in an unfamiliar town with an awe inspiring accordionist as my tutor, preferably a city where you can get a decent cup of espresso and a good vegetarian meal.

PHILOSOPHY

If you never find yourself in strange or uncomfortable situations, you´ll never learn anything new, neither about life nor about yourself.
And you can never go to far.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Johnny Flynn´s lyrics, Jacques Brel´s drama, Regina Spektors´s compositions, Movits!´s swing, Tom Waits´ style.
When it comes to films, I´m more fond of the peculiar films that leave you with a quirky smile and a peculiar sense of wanting to accomplish something that you have no idea what is is. So basically: Wes Anderson and Jean-Pierre Jeunet.
Litterature wise, I´m more of a russophile, but if I would have to sum up the largest litterary experiences of my life I´d have to say The Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy, and Master and Margarita. Both for completely different reasons, but none the less, those two.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ash falling like snow from crimson Chuvash skies. Summer -10 was the hottest in Russia in a 130 years, and the wildfires spread like, well wildfire, really.

Teach, Learn, Share

I´m an average accordionist, a music enthusiast, handy with old cameras, a bit of an amateur linguist, a stupendous liar, a skilled barista.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Malta, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, France, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Sweden
