About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My entire goal in life is to have someone I can truly call a friend in every part of the world. As well as being rich and enjoying my life. But mainly the first one!

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty spontaneous and impulsive. As far as plans go, I usually like to make them up right on the spot and go from there. Sometimes I give it a couple days thought, and there are those moments when I NEED to plan it out (which sucks...) but for the most part, I'm all about winging it.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life because I was born. I don't know why, it just happened, and since it happened, I figure I might as well enjoy it. Live on impulse, do what you you will enjoy and do good for others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, I host many travelers from across the country, and quite a few have been from different countries. I love it, the bigger the group, the better. I haven't surfed in awhile, as my travels have been limited lately, but I'd like to get back into it more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed a couple times, once was just to meet up with someone in STL and another time Syracuse, NY. Hosting has been a blast, something about the genuine thankfulness of strangers is a good feeling, and I've really enjoyed the surfers I've hosted thus far.

Interests

Anything that has to do with self-improvement, nature, or adrenaline, really. I love to hike and camp on the mountains that mother nature has challenged us to climb. I love to go freediving (no scuba gear) in the waters with my GoPro camera and see the world in an entirely different view. Skydiving is a must-do for everyone. There are still many things I have yet to experience and discover, and my goal in life is to do it all.

Music, Movies, and Books

There's just way too many to list. I'm into movies like I Am Legend, The Book of Eli, or comedy or anything really. Music, I will just say that I listen to virtually all of it, except for country. Though I do listen to some bluegrass. I usually get more into nonfiction books, or self-improvement books or something to that effect, but every now and then I'll pop open a work of fiction and get into it, such as Stephen King or "John Dies At The End," which is my personal favorite so far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There's way too many amazing things that happen everyday to really pick one out. I've met a man from Afghanistan that was tortured by the Russians, he's missing part of his finger, has a scar on his belly from where they cut him open and he watched his innards fall out, and currently has a bullet still lodged in the back of his head. He's now a multimillionaire that taught me and some fellow soldiers Dari, because he feels that he needs to repay the favor of his survival. Everytime a doctor saves a life, a soldier signs a contract, or an organ is donated, it is something truly amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I got madd skills, yo! I love to learn, I can try to teach what I know, whether its shotgunning out of a glass bottle, or teaching you how to improve your memory recall ten-fold in a matter of minutes (I can still recall a to-do list from a book I read nearly 6 months ago from a very simple trick I've learned).
