ABOUT ME

Wow ! So much to write , I was born in India and spend the first 13 years of my life there before my family migrated to Australia. By the end of high school , I had been to 5 different schools , learned 5 languages and navigated two very different and fascinating cultures.I guess this in a way made me a perfect fit for any future travel adventures. So, I went to University and further cosmopolitanized myself by learning a new language and travelling even more. Although , I am still referred to as either Indian or Australian or Australian/Indian !! So, still some way to go until I become a truly global citizen. Currently , I am doing my Masters in teaching in Sydney. Being able to travel has really widened my horizons, so whilst I would still like to travel, I feel its about time that I share some of own experiences with the coming generations through education , that would be a nice legacy to leave !

I enjoy all sorts of music , my ipod is a mini united nations of beats from around the world
Same goes with books although I do lean more towards old classical literature especially from Russia , India and recently South America. Being an old politics students, I am still addicted to reading the economist and plenty of non-fiction material relating to history and current affairs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess the simple act of packing one's bags and getting on a plane is amazing enough ! This process still fascinates me and it often takes a lot of courage to even contemplating taking this step , everything else that is amazing flows on from here , so to me , this is definitely the most amazing thing !

Teach, Learn, Share

All kinds of people , there is something to be learned from each and every individual. Knowledge and wisdom are available all around us and they are equally important irrespective of who offers them , whether it be a day laborer in India or an individual with a Phd .
