ABOUT ME

Currently travelling and looking to couchsurf :) Once I have a homebase again, will be happy to host.

Grew up in Namibia and South Africa, currently travelling after finishing my degree in 2016.

I am fascinated and curious by all the wild and wonderful things it has to offer. I am curious about all of it, all it's people and animals and eye-widening places. I believe in doing the things you need and want in a way that benefits the people and places around you. Reading, writing, drawing, painting, photography, being outside, being quiet, dancing, conversations - some of what I love.

For the reason I think Couchsurfing exists - to find more immediate, interesting and intimate ways of exploring places and meeting people.

Intereses

I love being in nature and engaging with it through hiking, walking, and just spending time in it. I also love urban spaces, to explore the secret parts of cities, and can walk for ages through their streets. Some of my happiest times are also spent just sitting wherever I am, reading, writing, drawing. Talking, being challenged, being taught - the fire of life is deep in these things for me. These things, and dancing to good music, and spending time with people I love.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach you about where I come from, I can teach you the languages I know of those places, I can help with you English skills if you need. But I guess we don't always know what we can learn from the people we meet. So there could be more!

The same goes for learning - I dont know what it is you can teach me! More practically, I am very keen to learn languages, how to cook specific meals, about the culture and history and politics of places. I also would like to learn to play some instruments and to develop film.

I am a good cook and house guest - I respect privacy and cleanliness and am sensitive to intruding on people's personal space. I enjoy learning and talking and exploring, and can share what I know and have experienced of the world so far.
