ABOUT ME

Hi =D My name is Johan, but you can call me Jay.

I'm from Sweden, 31 years old. Currently working as a nurse with cardiology. I enjoy this job so much, very fulfilling to help others in need.

I´m a active guy how struggles with doing nothing. The Only time that I can do nothing is when you suppose to do nothing, like when you mediate :)
I workout from time to time, going out for a run gives so much back. You get such a endorphin kick from it.
I love freediving, I used to work as a freediving instructor at Gili Trawangan. The best job in the world if you ask me!!!! It's also one of the few times when I can be in the moment.
A popular quote among freedivers is:
- "scuba divers dive to look around. Freedivers dive to look inside."
This is so true.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy hosting but unfortunately my exgirlfriend didn’t like the idea of letting strangers in. That’s why I’ve not hosted that many yet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experiences in couchsurfing was great, I stayed at the place for 3 weeks, it was really awesome how you get to know the culture and see places that you wouldn't have done if you stayed at a hostel or hotel.

That is the part wich I like the most.

Interessi

I'm a person how likes to exercise alot.

I been working as a Freediving instructor over at Gili Trawangan in Indonesia. Freediving (breath hold diving) is something that I really enjoy. If you want to I can teach you a few things, and lets see for how long you can hold your breath :)

I also like things that gets my adrenaline pumping such as rock climbing, skiing, telemark, paintballing
I also like scuba-diving and tracking.

besides that I really enjoys cooking and trying new things to eat or put together. Since I'm from Sweden I always enjoy a cold beer, especially those that takes the flavors of the food to a new level :)

Music is also something I find important in my life, I never go anywhere with out my iPod.

Last but defiantly not lest: My family and friends, they are a huge deal to me. I love spending time with them. That's the reason why I moved back home to sweden.

Musica, film e libri

Swedish music is my favorite, most of the time hiphop I also like soul and Drum n bass.

My favorite movies are "shortterm 12" Perks of being a wallflower and 500 days of summer.

It's quite rare that I find time to read books, I only read on holidays and vacations. But once I do read, I love it.
One book i Really liked was "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley. I also enjoyed the Lords of the Ring. the last book that i reed was "En man som heter Ove" (A man called Ove), such a funny book, loved it =)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

gone on a roadtrip trough Australia, freedived down to 61meters (not deep, I know), trekked up to Everest Basecamp, bungy jumped five times, stayed with two Iban tribes in Borneo, went horseback riding in Mongolia.
Hitchhiked from Helsinki - Haparanda - Gothenburg, One of the best experience so far =D took me 4 days.

Hitchhiked and Longboard around Iceland.

if you want to now a few cheesy pickuplines in Swedish, no problem, I know them all.
