About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore, make new friends, and learn about other cultures

ABOUT ME

I am from Sausalito, CA and spent most of my life living between there and Missoula, Montana where I went to University, and Murcia, Spain where I worked as an English teacher for a few years.

I consider myself to be a laidback person who enjoys meeting new people. I like to try new things, learn about the world, and appreciate the wonderful life that we have all been given.
Currently, I’m traveling in Southeast Asia with my best friend.

If you want to know more feel free to ask!

PHILOSOPHY

Remember the 11th Commandment: Don't sweat the small stuff. Also life is too short, it should be something we enjoy! I just try to be a good person and take advantage of life because we only have one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I’ve used Couchsurfing as a host in the past and have surfed a number of times. Its been a rewarding experience so far. Couchsurfing has also been a great way for me to practice Spanish because this is a language that I find to be very wonderful and I want to improve! I’ve attended various meetups in San Francisco and other places, and I’d like to one day be a host again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started Couchsurfing down in South America and the experience was amazing. A lot of people from different walks of life helped make that trip something that I will remember forever. The hospitality that people have shown me is something that I am truly thankful for and I accept any opportunity to pay back the favor towards other travelers whenever possible. My family has hosted a few travelers in the past as well and I feel fortunate to have met each person! Couchsurfing is an amazing community and I feel grateful to be a part of it.

Interests

Music is one of my all time favorite aspects of life. I don't play an instrument but love listening to and discovering new music. Dancing is also something that has always kept me in a good mood so if anyone ever wants to go you know who to ask.

Friends and family are two really important things as well I think it's important to value the relationships that we are in!

I like to cook (I'm no expert but it's fun!), going to movies, reading, taking random pictures of things and studying Spanish are also high on my list!

My biggest interests are to enjoy life, stay positive, be a good person, simply try to live as much as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music shifts pretty quickly but currently I really enjoy Indie Rock, remixes of random Hip-Hop, and anything that gets your feet ready to dance.

Here are some of my favorite authors: Bill Bryson, Charles Dickens, John Steinbeck, Paul Theroux, Juan Pablo Villalobos, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and the list goes in many directions.

I enjoy all kinds of movies and will watch anything once haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that simply being a part of this world is pretty amazing. Everyday is an opportunity for a new experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think that these three things are what keeps the world turning. Some amazing people that I have met through Couchsurfing have shared a great deal with me and I hope to continue this with others!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am not able to host at the moment but I am always interested in helping travelers explore and wander my city! I can show who ever some of the most important sights, places to eat, and where to go out if they are interested in nightlife.
