ABOUT ME

Me? I wish survival was still our number one priority in life instead of being backseat to things like hoarding little green pieces of paper with presidents on them, fantasy football and Entertainment Weekly. If we ever meet, you better be able to enjoy the little things, like the peculiar shade of orange purple that constitutes a sunset, the scent of a passionately brewed french press in the silence of the morning, and the sensation of being pushed into a swimming pool when you least expect it.

Okay, maybe not that last one. If you're nice.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy on life?It's just a ride, guys. Enjoy it while it lasts.Too short? Nah, I don't think so.

Interests

When I was a kid I wanted to be an astronaut.

Then I realized that that was a little difficult, so nowadays I've settled for trying to change the world. No, seriously. I'm working on a couple of a social entrepreneurship related startups right now and I'm very passionate about what I do. Sure, it's a pity I might never be at the forefront of the final frontier, but just give it a few decades and I'll hope on that train when the tourism industry for it gets established.

Aside from the entrepreneurship stuff, I like to longboard, rockclimb, pretend like I'm Sherlock Holmes and try to analyze people on the subway, walk through doors that have "Do Not Enter" signs on or around them (this is probably going to end poorly for me one day), and hunt down hole in the wall restaurants that will totally knock your socks off.

My musical tastes tend to shift a lot, and I spend many afternoons just exploring recommendations from my friends, but a few constants I'll always enjoy:Explosions in the Sky, Sigur Ros, Beirut, DeadMau5, Clint Mansell, Nujabes, Fleet Foxes, AIR, Royksopp, Ronald Jenkees, The Twelves, Daft Punk, Glitch Mob, Pretty Lights, Emancipator, DJ Shadow, RJD2, Ennio Morricone, John Murphy, AtmosphereI'll watch anything by Tarantino, Pixar, Scorcese, Aronofsky, Fincher, Nolan, and Miyazaki.I'll read anything you throw at me. And I will throw (good) books at you if you do not read.
