About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy Life

ABOUT ME

I would say I'm a social and an outgoing person that loves to meet new people from all over the world, enjoys life and loves to travel. Always willing to try new things and have a good time. Life is too short, enjoy it while you can.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short, enjoy it.
Don't regret anything you do, because in the end it makes who you truly are.

I believe that you can learn from anyone, they always have something to say and to teach. It does not matter where they are from, their age, sex, colour and such. We are all the same. We come from different backgrounds but we still have the same problems and experiences.

I also do not try to believe what the mass media tries to brain wash with. I like to see on my own, with my very own eyes and by doing this I have always gotten a different point of view. I have seen stuff which I would have been too scared to experience if I did believe the media. There are always two sides to the story.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had a lot of CouchSurfing experiences, but have mostly surfed and attended various activities in different countries around the world. Now that I have returned to my home city I would like to become active and help out as much as I can. CouchSurfing is an amazing tool to connect people from all over the world, to practice languages and to discover amazing cultures. I enjoy meeting people, to learn from them and share experiences with them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The CouchSurfing experiences I have had are just amazing. They are all unique and amazing in their own ways. The places I have seen, the people I have met are just priceless to me. It has taught me a lot. I can't wait to have many more of these experiences for years to come.

Interests

I enjoy the outdoors, camping, snowboarding, traveling (to new and old countries) as well as architecture. It is always a pleasure to cook and discover new dishes with CouchSurfers. Overall I like to explore new things, share ideas and be creative.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to watch all types of movies but I mostly prefer comedies, laughter is always needed in life.

Regarding music I listen to all different types of music, just depends on the moment and my mood. Life without music is like a world without having any colour.

For books, I love to collect and read anything related to Architecture and traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done is to travel the world, travel with no plan, no schedule, not knowing anyone but by the time you leave you have fell in love with that country and made friends that will last for a lifetime.

- Swim with sharks in South Africa
- Gorilla trekking in Uganda
- Climbing Kilimanjaro
- Scuba diving various places around the world
- Meeting Obama's gradnmother
- Visiting Madagascar
- Doing my own whisky tour in Scotland
- Floating in the Dead Sea, Israel
- Entering one of the Great Pyramids, Egypt
- Camping with Bedouins in Petra, Jordan
- Swimming in the Devil's Pool (Victoria Falls, Zambia)

The list is endless.

Teach, Learn, Share

Travel is a school to me. When travelling I enjoy to see how people dress, what they eat and drink. How they live their life. It's the culture and the people which stays in your memory for years to come.

I like to learn from other people and share with them.
Every time I travel to a different country I always try to learn a few words (hello, bye, thank you, cheers).
Just shows respect towards peoples cultures, also makes your experience a bit more enjoyable and fun.
