ABOUT ME

Not too much to say here I guess, other that Id like to say I get along with most people pretty well due to the fact that I have so many varying hobbies and interests. And if we dont have a mutual interest, im open and understanding and interested in learning about new things!

PHILOSOPHY

Each to their own I guess. I try to be as open to everyone elses views and opinions as possible, sometimes thats hard, but I give it a red hot crack.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Been in gympie for about a year now and have a spare room. Not really looking for a long term room mate, but meeting someone new everynow and then and having someone to talk to for a couple nights would be cool.If your lucky and catch me on days off, Im happy to go explore the hinterland/forests around gympie and or possibly a trip to Fraser Island or just rainbow. All a bit of fun!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had some awesome times. Visited Fraser Island with Rachel and Linda, the alpacca farm with Jens and Romy, Inskip point with Jiri, and hosted a dinner party with Thorsten! So far have really enjoyed just meeting new people and hearing their stories. Looking forward to more of the same!

Interests

Sports (just about all). Science. Outdoors. Rainforests. Beaches. Cute furry animals. Fires + beer + Marshmallows.More specifically... Cricket, not cricket season anymore though, so its now SOCCER! Recently got my Open Water Dive License and did a dive off Stradbroke Island which was excellent. Looking forward to more diving in the future! I also like to cycle when its not raining and im not feeling too lazy haha! I can cook to an edible standard, and generally love a good chat and a beer and or glass of wine. Im not one to go to the pub every weekend but if theres a good cause, I wont say no to shenanigans!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 1 Year in the UK when I was 7/8. Based out of Norwich in England. My parents are teachers, and during the school holidays, and even some weekends we travelled all over the place. I remember bits and pieces like climbing Ben Nevis, and kissing the Blarney stone. Most of all I remember the castles (what young boy wouldnt!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy just chatting about life and peoples experiences of it. They say knowledge is power, and thats definitely something I believe in. The more I know, the better off Ill be, whether that be in a game of trivia :P Or interacting with society. Having a broader knowledge of the world and the people that live in it, is never a bad idea!
