CURRENT MISSION

I heard about couch surfing through a housemate and have met some really interesting people staying in our house. I also have gone to some of the meet up and have enjoyed chatting with the various people attenting the meet ups.

ABOUT ME

I am 31 year living in Cork for the past few years. Have lived in Dublin and Galway prior to this so know the best places in all these cities. My main passions in life would be music attending concerts film reading and following my various sporting teams. I have a great love of history and politics and just generally love finding out more about this crazy world. The best way of learning is by meeting new people which to me is a large part of what couch surfing is about.

PHILOSOPHY

I would like to think that I am a friendly person who gives every one the benifit of the doubt. I like meeting new people and having a good circle of friends is the best way of enjoying your life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My house mate is doing the hosting at the moment. So I do not couch available. But I am looking forward to contributing to the meet up and the events which are happening in the Cork area. I also can give out any information I have that would help visitors to the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not hosted or surfed as yet. However I have had many positive expieriences and have enjoyed talking to the couch surfers that stayed in our house or that I have met at the meet ups.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music would be one of my main passions. Love a wide range of music. Some of favourite musicians would include The Beatles, Luke Kelly, Christy Moore, Damien Dempsey, Kinks, Doors Rolling Stones, Jeff Buckley Eliot Smith Nick Drake Joni Mitchell. Could go on and on but there a few that come to mind.

Favourite films would include In Name of the Father Amelie. Bueno Vista Social Club, The Live of Others, Vaganbond 12 Angry Men Breakfast at Tiffanys Citizen Kane Dial M for Murder.

My favourite books of all time would be Catcher in the Rye Catch 22 1984 Down and Out in Paris and London Animal Farm. Anything from John McGahern as well. Also love any books abouts politics or history.
