I'm from Sydney, Australia. Grew up on a small farm. I have been working in Public Health since 2013 and prior to that made a living playing piano.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Stumbled on it through some friends during my travels. I love staying with locals. Joining the local groups of the places I visit. There are some really great people around doing it. And its a pleasure to meet so many people. Can't wait to get involved in Australia and help out other travellers and organise some more adventures!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started with a flat in Brooklyn. Met a whole bunch of people that had a big share house! I started surfing a few floors above. Surfed in America (NYC, Philadelphia) in Bolivia (Tarija), Argentina (Tucuman, Cordoba, BA and more...). Had quite a few meet ups for coffees, some teas, beers and day hikes.

I have hosted in Sydney once or twice. But unfortunately hasn't worked that well in my living situation.

Interests

Music. Love just about all kinds. I studied jazz at uni. Love listening to old time, folk, jazz, blues, bluegrass, classical, country. Play clawhammer banjo and piano.

Working in public health, I have a passion for equality and health systems. I currently work in epidemiology and very much enjoy that.

Also love good food, good drinks, football (soccer). cricket. hiking, partying. surfing. general beaching. reading, movies, etc etc
