About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles

ABOUT ME

I am from Buenos Aires
I live in San Diego (previously in Philadelphia where I did my PhD)
I am a scientist.
I am vegan
I love discovering things/places/people, biking, walking barefoot, cycling (my favorite sport to practice, soccer favorite sport to watch), massages, tea, inappropriate humor, beer and wine, live music (funk, jazz, reggae, brass bands, latin rithms), laughing until my stomach hurts, nature in general, dancing like an idiot, picnics, laying down in the grass looking at the sky, colorful paintings, vegan stuff, photography.

I dislike drivers who dont respect bikers, shallow people, throwing trash on the street, bacon and alarm clocks.

I am currently working as a Postdoctoral researcher in San Diego, California.. its beautiful here!!!

Since I am currently renting a room and sharing my house with a roommate, I dont have space to host but I am always happy to meet new people and hang out in the city/beach!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to go places, travel as much as i can. I always thought traveling is the only thing that we take with ourselves at the end. the experiences, the friendships, the sensations.
i had great CS experiences in the past and i would love to host and be hosted by other CS friends!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been to Guadeloupe and people was very nice and welcoming. I had an amazing time in the island!

I have also hosted several couch surfers at my old place and it was always very friendly, except for once where a guy stole my camera.. still i dont think this is the general situation and that is why I love CS

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

diving to a shipwreck in Cayman islands: it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Being in this huge blue universe and aproaching the wreck felt like seeing the titanic with my own eyes

paragliding in Florianopolis, Brazil: incredible to be able to fly and see all the coast, the sea the beach and the small towns. I was also able to guide it myself or a little while and it felt as if I was a bird. very peacefull and overwelming experience.

Ive done rafting in Mendoza, Argentina and once, when approaching a fall, the boat flipped and i felt to the water.. i was taken by the river for a while until they rescued me... sooo much adrenaline!!!
