ABOUT ME

I've just landed in Quebec, and am trying to use this tool (new to me) to get to know Quebec and Canada better; its lands, its peoples, its cultures, its visitors.
Oh yes, and I'm an argentine tango dancer, so always looking for milongas.
Je viens de m'installer au Québec, alors pourquoi ne pas essayer de surfer pour faire connaissance avec ce pays, ses paysages, ses habitants, leurs cultures ?
Je suis aussi milonguera / tanguera (donc accro).

PHILOSOPHY

J'aime ramasser des galets et en remplir ma maison. Ca donne des repères.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Learning to surf; the most difficult is getting up on my feet.
J'apprends à surfer ; le plus dur est de tenir debout.

I've also experienced and lent quite a few couches in my life, but I guess that is off subject.
J'ai aussi testé et prêté pas mal de divans, sofas et autres canapés, mais c'est sans doute hors sujet.

Interests

I'm a bit obsessed with date palms, deserts and oases, but am undergoing a weaning process here in Quebec...

Apart from walks along the river, I dance and practice yoga, and am slowly getting to know my housemates.

J'ai une obsession pour les palmiers dattiers et les oasis, mais suis en cours de sevrage.

En ce moment, à part les promenades en bord de fleuve, je danse, fais du yoga, et découvre mes colocataires petit à petit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One night, we watched sea turtles hatch on a beach in Oman. They were literally swimming out of the sand to the surface. Wonderful.
