I'm Mike. I like doing adventurous stuff and seeing new places. Going on major hikes, riding famous racetracks, or scuba diving in exotic new places have all been really worthwhile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mostly looking for people to have a nice dinner and chat with. Eating dinner with someone else is a million times better than eating alone. I think I'm a pretty good listener and I like hearing about other people's travels and adventures.

Interests

I rather like a adventurous. Motorbikes have been a great way to travel the world, and it was pretty awesome taking a sportbike around famous racetracks like Laguna Seca, Willow Springs, or Cadwell Park.

Scuba diving has also proven to be a fantastic hobby.

Other than that, a game of Catan, or a night playing video games with friends is a great way to spend an evening.

Long Way Round - seeing Ewen and Charlie ride around the world. I was like, yep, I want to do that. Signed up for a motorcycle course soon after with a friend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding a dirt bike across the back-country of Costa Rica was pretty great. It was my first time crossing rivers on a motorcycle which was pretty frightening. I ended up a place called Drake's Bay did several amazing days of scuba diving along with meeting all sorts of really cool people.
