À propos de moi

CURRENT MISSION

Learn, Communicate, Fun

ABOUT ME

For the moment, I'm entirely dedicated to my studies, I'm at the point where I'm writing my thesis, which means that in general I stay in front of my computer many hours a day trying to lay down anything that comes to mind and sounds smart on the moment! I usually change most of it the day after, but I love what I do, and I mostly love sharing this interest. I'm working on everyday nationhood in Montreal and Brussels, two cities I grew up in, two cities that I love, but if you want to hear more about it, we'll have to meet!

PHILOSOPHY

Being confident in what life has to offer!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hosting for a few years now! I first used couchsurfing summer 2011 to meet some people in Belgium to get to know the cities better. I also go to couchsurfing activities.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I pretty much love any kind of movie, depending on how I feel I can watch an Hollywood (Terminator, Alien) movie or an independent film (De helaasheid der dingen, CRAZY).

As for music I mainly listen to jazz (John Coltrane, Medeski, Martin and Wood) and metal (Meshuggah, Unexpect), but I like pretty much all types of music.

Since I read a lot of sociology, I'm was not too much into novels for a long time! So I've been trying to catch up a bit on that in the last few months by reading some classics like Prouts, Roth, Mann...

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

As a kid I had to move with my parents a lot, from Québec to Belgium, from Belgium to United-States and a lot more! As much as I hated it when it happened, I can now see over the years how much of a great opportunity that was.

Traveling through France on bike and then hitchhiking through Europe by myself. Just the best experience ever that I think everyone should take time to at least do once in their life.
