About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I would like to learn more about the world, its people, cultures and cuisine..and how to cook it too ! one day hopefully owning an internationally welcoming cafe bar

ABOUT ME

Hi im jules I am 28, and I currently live in Bangor.I love to travel, see new places, meet different people, and learn about other cultures. My favourite place so far has been india as its so colourful and lively, and New Zealand as I was lucky enough to be there during the rubgy world cup, making me a rugby fan.
I am a pretty laid back person, but can be a little quiet as I like to absorb what goes on around me. I am currently living in Bangor while I continue my studies, and fortunate to have the lovely Snowdonia park on my doorstep.

PHILOSOPHY

enjoy every day!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now I have my own place I have started to host, and have met with couchsurfers in vietnam, but have yet to meet with any in Bangor. I also keep telling friends about how great couchsurfing is, so slowly but surely they are joining :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have joint hosted with my housemate, which was a lot of fun.

Interests

I love to read, catch on TV when I can, world cinema. Theatre, plays, live comedy. Enjoy exploring the surroundings in Bangor, such as Snowdonia park, walking, camping. Love music festivals. Pretty much most things, and always like trying new things.. although I am not very good at sports :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done a parachute jump.. which many have done so isn't that amazing, but I hate heights and I can't even go on rollercosters any more.. so for me it was amazing that I did it and that I enjoyed it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn to make my own clothes, knit, and restore furniture, and grow my own food, all part of a plan to be greener. Also would like to learn to surf I think, and read a map well after getting lost so often.

I can teach you to make welsh cakes and bara brith :-)
