About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Figure out where to go with my life.
ABOUT ME
Working at an International Relations research center. In the past, I've been heavily involved in theater as both a performer and producer. I used to long-distance run and I'm trying to that up again.
I hate inconveniencing people, so I tend to consider the preferences of other people to a fault. If I'm crashing on your couch and I'm doing anything that bugs you, just let me know immediately - I'm really flexible and would always rather keep you happy!
PHILOSOPHY
It'll work out. Keep thinking, don't stress and it'll work out.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Looking forward to be a welcoming presence in the Boston community once I return home.
While travelling, hopefully I'll be an amiable new contact from North American for anyone I meet.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new, but really excited about getting started! I have a great deal of outside experience crashing on friends' couches.
Interests
Theater (I act and produce), singing, long-distance running, catching frogs, eating cookies, eating brownies, finishing other people's desserts, climbing trees, putting on warm socks, dressing up, getting my first haircut in 9 months, napping, meeting new people, racing people, buying anything used, having more fashionable buy me clothing, evading sunburns, imitating animals

Music, Movies, and Books
Terrible with favorites, but here's my attempt at some current ones:
Music: Bon Iver, Nick Drake, Rihanna, boy bands of the late 90s, Ella Fitzgerald
Books/Plays: Blackbird, House of the Scorpion, After the Dance, Assassins, Harry Potter, The Sound and the Fury, Tusk Tusk
TV/Movies: Simpsons, House, The Office, Extras, Moulin Rouge, Waiting for Superman, American Beauty
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've written and performed a play that made people cry. I've survived a severe sandboarding concussion. I've been in an Oscar-winning movie for two seconds (Just kidding - that was one of the most unpleasant things I've ever done. Never be an extra).
Teach, Learn, Share
I love practicing Spanish with other people. I'm not fluent and therefore can't pretend to teach very well, but I'd love to learn with you!
I can answer as many questions that you have about thalidomide, American eugenics or leprosy in Queensland. I must admit that my academic interests have tended toward the historically morbid, but if you'd rather not discuss my dark scholastics curiosities, I never chatter on about them unprompted.
I can sing for you if you want? I would love to learn guitar or piano, but for now mostly love singing with people sweet enough to accompany me.
I'm don't know how to cook, but I want to learn and would love to be your kitchen apprentice.
