ABOUT ME

Hi guys, my name is Tony and I just finished a year exploring South America by bicycle.

I left the UK almost 12 years ago and have been slowly travelling the world since then. I started in 2011, by traveling for two years on my motorbike, around Europe and then south through Africa. Then I headed to Australia for a year to get some cash so that I could continue into Asia. I was lucky enough to get sponsorship in the form of a bicycle. I then spent 8 years working and travelling through South East Asia. When the Corona virus restrictions were lifted, I started travelling the Americas with my bicycle. After a year cycling through South America, I flew back to Vietnam to settle down for a while.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I was travelling I was only surfing as I didn't have a place for people to stay. However, I do have a place now I'm in Hoi An. I will try to host people when I can.

I also like to attend meet-ups and activities in the different places I visit.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I Lived in Tanzania for a year teaching Maths, English and IT in a secondary school when I was 21 years old. Before heading home I took a month to travel around Tanzania, went on safari and climbed Kilimanjaro.

Spent two years traveling through Europe and Africa on my Motorbike from July 2011.

Spent a year cycling through South America.

I am currently on a round the world journey that will last for the foreseeable future.
