ABOUT ME

I know, I know for sure,
That life is beautiful around the world.

I was working in a photo mini-lab for a couple of years when I decided to spend a few months travelling the USA. Since then, I've done a few short trips to various places! Always fantasising about the next trip.

Things I like:
Music, photography, Apple products, scones, shubunkins, wearing t-shirts in the summer, seeing people make hand gestures when on the phone, watching films, sitting in wardrobes, folding leaves, Yorkie bars, jaunty angles, free things, Holgas, looking at people's bald patches from the top deck of a bus, when books are all the same height, chocolate raisins, London, the word 'sinister', when things go right, making lists, watching people slip on ice, Mini Eggs, the cold side of the pillow, looking at people's shoes on the tube.

Things I dislike:
Cold days, waiting, headaches, series 8 of Bad Girls, DRM, having bowling balls dropped on my feet, cleaning ovens, hayfever, lateness, numb feet, having to walk to the supermarket at 10pm for milk, bigots, walking on wet leaves, delays on the tube, Windows, things I want but don't have, sandy beaches, Comic Sans, people who don't like cats.

I feel like I would like me if I met me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed across the USA and had a blast!
I am available to host in Biggleswade, which is fairly close to London and Cambridge and I can give you tips on getting around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, have stayed with a few hosts on my USA trip and had a whale of a time, and been saved from sleeping on the Chicago streets. =)
I hosted a few people in London, and have opened my couch requests for Biggleswade now!

Interests

A typical evening for me will be to catch up with my TV shows, play video games, or listen to music and go online. My cats keep me company/annoy me. I'm not big into partying but I enjoy meeting up with friends. I try to meet up with my friends as often as possible, but now that we're all adults with jobs and commitments, it can be difficult!
I am learning BSL (British Sign Language) and often attend events and meetups where I can improve my new language.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every day is amazing if you know where to look.
I've sat in the Queen's seat, stood where the Dalai Lama stood and been stalked by President Obama.
I've been to amazing cities and seen the incredible landscapes of the American west.
I've managed to stay alive (so far).
