About Me

**COUCHSURFING WAS WAY MORE BEAUTIFUL BACK THEN**

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to discover the place I belong to... In the meantime, let's party

ABOUT ME

Nomadic soul. Unconventional tourist: I do not tour, I enjoy experiencing real travels, mixing up with locals, learning from their culture and trying to become myself one.

I think I'm easy-going, friendly and a really good option for somebody looking for someone to spend some time with. You'll have to discover if it's true!

PHILOSOPHY

BE AND LET BE

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, it is quite difficult for me to host because I study and work at full time and when I have holidays, it is extremely rare to find me at home (yeap, you're right... traveling). BUT! Just try and we'll see. Also, I use to have spare time at evenings and nights to hang out and even party! So, if anyone is up for a good drink and an even better chat when visiting Beijing, just give me a touch!

Interests

Lots of! History, Philosophy, Politics, Art, Design, Photograph, Cooking ... PARTY!

I love having discussions with interesting people with a coffee or beer in my hand. As a Humanities student, I use to have a special crush with people who share those same conversation topics, but I ain't a dictator! I also enjoy people of different backgrounds! Actually, I love all kind of people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Cannot highly one of each, but I'll try:

MOVIES: James Franco shorts and documentaries, Tarantino (specially Kill Bill 1), Rodriguez (From Dusk till Dawn and the Machete saga); Inception, La Môme, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and a long etc.

SERIES: HIMYM, Shameless, GOT, Hope, Penny Dreadful, My Mad Fat Diary, Orange is the new black, Vikings, etc.

MUSIC: this, is a hard one. I myself move between a very wide range of music. I love rock and indie, but recently I discovered a taste for dancehall and electro reggae. You can blame to bad company. I also enjoy a good and deeply passionate flamenco, so... I guess I'm the perfect guest to any party!

BOOKS: the thing is that due to what I'm studying, I MUST read a lot, and all sorts of genres ... So, nowadays, I enjoy reading books about History, Philosophy, Psychology... almost anything. But at home, for fun and to chill out, I use to read bestsellers. Need for titles? "The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follet, "La sombra del viento" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon or "La Catedral del Mar" by Ildefonso Falcones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping in a ATM in London with a friend before leaving this one alone in the night after his rental contract expired; being kicked out of a train at the Hungarian-Romanian border and having to sleep, thanks to a train station worker who had mercy on us, in a old Soviet abandoned train rather than in the cold ground of the station; watching, totally marveled, the sunset behind the Cuillin Mountains at the Scottish Highlands... ALL OF THEM EXTREMELY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCES... THAT'S WHY I LOVE TRAVELING! These, and more experiences ready to be explained ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH: I do not teach anything to anyone... I like to share!

LEARN: whatever people want to share with me!

SHARE: everything I can!

*BTW: Legend says that I'm a really good cook and that my guitar performance of Zorba the Greek and the Portuguese fado song Cançao do Mar are quite impressive. Just saying
